# API Reference

> The starting point for the partner API contract and endpoint documentation.

Use the API reference to confirm the request, response, authentication, and error contract for each supported endpoint.

<Note>
  The partner endpoint reference is being prepared. Do not treat internal, administrative, or undocumented endpoints as part of the partner integration contract.
</Note>

## Reference Areas

The reference will be organized around the capabilities approved for partner use:

* **Authentication:** supported access flows and credential requirements.
* **Trading accounts:** account information and account state.
* **Market data:** instruments, prices, and historical data.
* **Trading:** orders and positions.
* **Funding and transactions:** supported funding workflows and transaction history.

## Before Making Requests

Confirm your [environment and access details](/get-started/environments). Each endpoint must specify its authentication requirements; do not assume one credential grants access to every operation.

<Warning>
  Production trading and funding requests can have real financial effects. Do not use production write operations for exploratory testing or interactive documentation examples.
</Warning>

See [integration architecture](/integration-guides/architecture) for workflow planning and [security considerations](/integration-guides/security) for credential handling.
